The efforts made by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister in order to obtain international accreditation from the International union for Medical Education (WFME), a deputation of international experts from the Jordanian accreditation and quality assurance authority visited Al-Nahrain University, the College of Medicine, and the Al-Imamain Al-Kadhemin Medical City,and viewed the college and the teaching hospital and checked all documents related to international accreditation standards , note that the college is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Iraqi Medical Colleges, which is in the process of obtaining recognition by the International union for Medical Education.
