Is it alright, in this burning heat, to shiver, out of cold?
Is it alright, to be choosing silver, and to let go of gold?
Is it normal, to know the road and yet feel it's a maze?
Is it normal, to say thousand words, just by a meeting gaze?
Should it burn, if a heart on fire, ever touched the snow?
Should it burn, if a total eclipse took out the moonlight's
glow?
Would it matter, if we just kept watching from our backseat?
Or should we take chances, and try to walk it bare feet?
Is it okay, to have eyes and yet, not everything is seen?
Is it okay, to miss the brown, when all around is in green?
Is it safe, to hold a knife, when you wanna take out your life?
Is it safe, to cross a path, you know you will not survive?
Should it hurt, if after touching the sky, we ever hit the floor?
Should it hurt, if after getting it all, was the law of no more?
And would it matter, if you started your day with a smile or a
sigh?
'cause yesterday you were born, today you live, and tomorrow
you will die…
(
When the Moon had gone)
By: Omar R.Nadhum
The sky was raining …but there were no
clouds
Could it be tears? …I had some doubts
I didn't know what was going on?
Then I heard the wind whispers:
It is the Moon...he is gone
Indeed the rumors were true
All were shocked and didn't know
what to do?
The blind Night said:
No moon means no sight
He can't go … he's my only light!
The sad sea said:
Who'll tell me about the stars and how
they are ?
Cause I can't see them …. they are so far
The confused love said :
Who will take care of my kids if they feel
pain ?
Who will listen to them when they
complain?
The lonely Earth said :
I think that will be the end
I can't survive without my friend
Then I said :
Don’t worry … I know the moon
He won't leave us …he'll back soon
After a moment of silence a familiar voice
said "Hi "
The lovely moon came back … and
hugged the sky
Sorrow and pain of my soul
Will be washed by the rainfall
Don’t let the despair takes control of you
Just stay hopeful . . . really you should do
