Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Amer Al-Laheibi, a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, participated in the Ninth Conference of the Iraqi Society for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery / Middle Euphrates Branch, held at the Culture Palace in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf. The event witnessed wide attendance from cardiothoracic physicians across various provinces of Iraq. Dr. Al-Laheibi chaired one of the scientific sessions during the conference, where he delivered a lecture on the latest advancements in vascular treatment. His presentation provided a summary of recent expertise and knowledge in this vital field, sparking significant scientific engagement among attendees. This participation comes as part of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University's ongoing support for scientific research and its contribution to the development of the medical sector in Iraq.
