Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nael, the Department of Pharmacology organized a scientific visit to Al-Imamain Al-Kadhimain (PBUH) Medical City. This visit was part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical experience of postgraduate students. A group of postgraduate students participated in the visit, accompanied by several faculty members and supervised by Professor Emeritus Dr. Abdul Kareem Hameed. The visit included a tour of the Medical Laboratories Division, where participants observed the latest medical tests and technologies in use. Among these was the "VITEK" device, a specialized system for the precise identification of bacteria, which is considered one of the key instruments in medical research and analyses related to the field of pharmacology. This visit is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and research collaboration with reputable medical institutions and to provide educational and field training opportunities for its students.
