On Sunday, April 28, 2025, the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine held an in-person workshop titled : "RNA Extraction from Blood and cDNA Synthesis." The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Khairallah Mahdi and attended by several faculty members from the department as well as postgraduate students. The workshop aimed to train participants on the theoretical foundations and practical applications of RNA extraction from blood samples, in addition to the steps involved in complementary DNA (cDNA) synthesis. These are fundamental techniques in modern molecular research. The event featured fruitful scientific engagement and constructive discussions on the research applications of these techniques in the fields of medicine and the life sciences.
