A number of faculty members from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University participated in the activities of the Second International Conference on Health Sciences and Technologies, organized by the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University in Babylon Province, from April 22 to 23, 2025. This participation comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration and exchange scientific expertise among Iraqi universities. The conference addressed the latest innovations in public health, biomedical technology, and the applications of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment, in addition to discussing strategies for the prevention of chronic diseases, particularly cancer. This event reflects the commitment of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University to its leading role in supporting scientific research and actively contributing to the advancement of the health sector both locally and internationally.
