Professor Dr. Shatha Hussein Ali, Head of the Pediatrics Department at the College of Medicine – Al-Nahrain University, participated in the 9th Conference of the Iraqi Pediatric Society, which was held in Basra Province from April 10 to 11, 2025. During the conference, Professor Dr. Shatha Hussein Ali presented a scientific research paper titled: "Vitamin D Deficiency in Children with Nephrotic Syndrome" The study addressed significant aspects related to the health impacts of vitamin D deficiency on children affected by this condition. The conference was marked by a broad attendance of pediatricians from various Iraqi provinces, in addition to the participation of several doctors from outside Iraq. It featured the presentation of distinguished scientific research papers covering diverse topics in the field of pediatrics, contributing to the enhancement of scientific and knowledge exchange among participants.
