On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Al-Nahrain College of Medicine hosted scientific seminars for graduate students, where several PhD and Master's students presented their research in advanced biomedical fields. The seminars featured the following topics: Alia Munther – PhD: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Combating Antibiotic Resistance: Innovations and Global Challenges. Zahraa Adnan – PhD: Exploring the Impact of Parasitic Worms on Immune-Cell and Pancreatic-Cell Communication in the Prevention of Diabetes. Ruqaya Mohammed Ali – Master’s: The Role of Gut Microbiome in COVID-19 Infection.
The session witnessed fruitful scientific discussions, highlighting the research applications and their significance in advancing medical knowledge and therapeutic practices. These seminars are part of the college's efforts to support scientific research and enhance academic communication between students and faculty members.
