Professor Mahmoud Shaker participated in the examination committee for a PhD dissertation in the specialty of Rheumatology at the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations. The dissertation addressed the topic: "Insulin Resistance in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus" The study focused on the relationship between insulin resistance and disease progression in patients suffering from this condition. The discussion was attended by a distinguished group of professors and specialists, and valuable scientific insights were provided to further advance research in this field. This participation is part of the ongoing efforts of Al-Nahrain College of Medicine to promote academic research and collaborate with specialized medical institutions in Iraq.
