A surgery was performed on Thursday, December 12, 2024, involving the opening of the fourth, fifth, and sixth cervical vertebrae for a patient suffering from spinal canal stenosis, back pain, and limb weakness at Al-Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital. The operation was conducted by Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Jassim Mohammed Al-Khafaji, a faculty member at Al-Nahrain College of Medicine.
