The Department of Human Anatomy at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, received a group of professors and students from the College of Medicine at Ibn Sina University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences on Sunday, December 8, 2024. The visit included an explanation of how to operate the electron microscope in all its types, covering the steps of sample preparation and examination under the electron microscope, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Rashid Karim. The details of tissue sample preparation, block formation, and microtome sectioning were explained by Assistant Lecturer Heba Ahmed Abdul Sattar. Additionally, the visit included a demonstration of the steps for staining tissue slides using the routine Hematoxylin and Eosin stain, presented by Assistant Lecturer Noor Kazem Jawad. This visit comes as part of a plan to enhance the students' skills in using the electron microscope.
